Cal League Condensed: 6/10 Review

If you're looking for pythagorean records, I'll have them Saturday. I could make a few excuses about this, but they are coming in a couple days.

Modesto 5, San Jose 4

Notes: Modesto wins the series... Ryan Peisel's second home run of the game gave Modesto a 5-4 lead in the 9th... Emmanuel Burriss played SS and went 2/3 with an RBI... Burriss also stole a base and made an error... Each starter allowed three runs, two earned in seven innings... Ethan Hollingsworth also struck out six batters... Eight different Giants had hits... Attendance was 2,284... Modesto continues their road trip in Stockton while San Jose finishes the homestand against Bakersfield...

Visalia 18, Lancaster 4

Greene, Brent Greer, Dan Kaczrowski and Paul Goldschmidt all had three hit games... Greene and Goldschmidt each had five RBI... Goldschmidt also scored four times and walked three times... Greer and Kaczrowski each scored three times... Visalia was 10 for 16 w/ RISP... Albert Cartwright made two errors... Kyle Greenwalt allowed nine runs in four innings, but only four were earned... Mike Schurz allowed eight runs in 2.2 IP... Attendance was 1,616... Visalia starts a homestand against High Desert while Lancaster starts a road trip at Inland Empire...
