We have an odd situation in the South. Due to Lake Elsinore currently leading the second half, there would be two "wild card teams", High Desert and Rancho Cucamonga. Inland Empire and Lancaster have been eliminated from wild card contention. However, High Desert and Rancho Cucamonga haven't clinched playoff spots. While Lake Elsinore leads the division, High Desert and Rancho Cucamonga's magic number will be clinching a playoff spot. It will be the same as Lancaster's elimination number for the second half title.
