Lake Elsinore Storm v. Lancaster JetHawks 7:00 PM PT
Nick Schmidt v. Ross Seaton
Notes: After throwing five shutout innings in his first start this season, Nick Schmidt has allowed 14 runs in his last 13.1 IP... That includes a start against Lancaster in which Schmidt gave up five runs in four innings... Ross Seaton has one start against Lake Elsinore this season and only gave up two hits in five innings, but three walks and defensive mistakes led to five runs, two of which were earned... Seaton is coming off his worst start of the season when he gave up five runs in five innings against Rancho Cucamonga... Jacob Brigham allowed his first unearned runs of the year, three, in his last start... Brigham threw 5.1 shutout IP in an earlier start against Stockton... Murphy Smith appeared in relief after rehabbing reliever Michael Wuertz last time out... Smith gave up seven hits in 4.1 IP but only two runs scored...
