In the North division, Visalia is still playing a little over their head a little and leading Modesto. Their run differential is roughly the same, but the Nuts have a couple games in hand, so we'll see what happens once those are out of the way. After spending a bit of time in last place lately, Bakersfield made a big move in the last week to play closer to their expected record. San Jose and Stockton are both hanging around where they should be.

High Desert has still probably been the best team this season, but Lake Elsinore is overachieving more than any other team in the league still. The Quakes and JetHawks are right about where they should be as they were last week. Inland Empire is three games worse than their expected record, but that's not much of a consolation prize for a team playing bad baseball right now. The top five teams in scoring are all in the South, and Stockton is tied for 5th with Inland Empire.
