San Jose 5, Visalia 4 (Game One)

Notes: Game ended on a fielder's choice hit by Brandon Belt that allowed James Simmons to score... Kevin Eichhorn made his 2010 debut, allowing four runs in 5.2 IP... All four runs came in the second inning... Justin Fitzgerald struck out eight in six innings... Paul Goldschmidt struck out three times... Brent Greer hit two doubles and had two RBI... San Jose stole six bases...

Notes: San Jose sweeps the doubleheader... Visalia was actually considered the home team in this game... Chase Anderson struck out nine in six innings in his Cal League debut but allowed three earned runs and took the loss... Oliver Odle has won in his last two appearances, both starts against Visalia... Juan Perez had a three hit game... San Jose only stole two bases... Visalia was held to just six hits...

Tyson Auer had a three hit game, stole two bases and scored twice... Rancho Cucamonga didn't have an extra base hit... Attendance was 2,101...

Bakersfield manager Bill Haselman was ejected in the first inning... Attendance was 3,660...
