Pythagorean Records: 7/8 Edition

For the first time in the second half, I'll post the Pythagorean standings. These go by overall record, combining the first and second half.

Stockton37474174683846-10.44740795296184

San Jose has struggled to start the second half, but many of their losses are tight games, so their expected record is still very similar to what it was at the end of the first half. Modesto and Visalia are still running neck and neck, but Modesto has improved on their run differential in the second half while Visalia is still in the same range. Bakersfield has been the hottest team in the league to start this half, but they still haven't put much distance between themselves and Stockton in the overall standings.

It remains to be seen if this will be an issue for the entire second half, but Lake Elsinore's offense hasn't been as productive after the Drew Cumberland and Blake Tekotte promotions, and as a result, the expected record has taken a hit. Their slow start has allowed Rancho Cucamonga and High Desert to gain some ground. Those two teams are tied, but one difference from the first half is the Quakes passed High Desert in expected record. Inland Empire and Lancaster still have a lot of work to do.
